Description
So this is what I used to procrastinate from packing today. I finished it off (the last hour or so) on join.me, but no-one joined me
Took me almost the whole way through my drawing playlist on iTunes which is over 5 hrs long.
Tried to be a bit more old school with this one... but I didn't want to completely dump everything I've been playing around with the past week or so.

Wonderful drawing! Also the title is interesting. That's great, when artist treats every part of his work very seriously, that' why in Your case even the title is deliberated.

Ugh the hair. That was the bit I think I was most proud of in this one. It's so weird. Like, I have no idea what I'm meant to be doing when I'm drawing hair and I just sort of doodle and end up being really pleased with it... I mean I'm not complaining...

Yeah, I get it. c: It looks really natural, too, but not exactly realistic, if that makes sense. It looks smooth and touchable, but in an artistic way and I just. Gah. There go my words again.

No problem! It's one of the most gorgeous fan arts of Sherlock I've seen on here! I just love how it isn't all smoothed out and everything. I like the roughness of it, and you did a great job with the expression as well!

Thank you so much for saying that! It's exactly what I'm trying to achieve. I like portraits with a bit of character and hate when people strive for photorealistic perfection. I think you can say much more with a drawing than just copying a photo.

Nah *stalks gallery* see, you're smart about what pics you use - you use pics that have character anyway. Plus you're really good at what you do, so I have no complaints

You're very welcome! And I absolutely agree! I have a favourite type of pic too and usually I'll look for something with huge amounts of contrast and preferably a profile view or sort of side on. XD
