After looking through my Pokemon card collection, I was inspired to try some solo Pokemon illustrations with pretty backgrounds. It would also be a good opportunity to improve on techniques like shading.

This was originally going to be part of jazzytyfighter.deviantart.com/… , but my friend gave me the better suggestion of having the bats hang upside down.
