SPOILER ALERT! Yes, the ending to Equestria Girls was weird, coming from a guy who genuinely liked the movie. From a gamer’s (mostly Kingdom Hearts fan) perspective, the fight against demon/succubus Sunset Shimmer could have potential for a good boss battle.

Here's how Sora, Donald, and Goofy come upon the world known as "Canterlot High" via Gummi Ship!
*Gummi Ship comes up to Canterlot High*
Goofy: Gawrsh, I wonder what this world could be?
Sora: I dunno. Looks like some kind of High School.
Donald: *gets mad* What?! Why would there be Heartless at a high school?!
Sora: Calm down Donald. If there are Heartless here, then we'll fight them like we normally do, right?

Goofy: Hey Sora, If I didn't know better, I'd say that all the students at this High School all have multiple different skin colors(not racist), and they can grow pony ears and tails when they sing.
Sora: Huh. That's weird. But it's also interesting! Let's go!
*The Gummi Ship flies into the world and Sora, Donald, and Goofy are now at Canterlot High and they introduce themselves to The HuMane 5 while they do the same*
Sora: Oh no, Heartless!
Rainbow Dash: Heartless? What are those?
Sora: Heartless are bad guys who have no hearts! literally!
Fluttershy: *does her scared squeal*
*Sora, Donald, and Goofy begin fighting Heartless in the courtyard of Canterlot High*
Pretty great, right? If only Kingdom Hearts would start having non-Disney Worlds so an Equestria World or a Canterlot High world could be possible. Oh well. A Brony can dream, right?

I don't think Goofy would take notice of skin color since they've been to a place with disproportionate people in Halloween Town, a castle with living inanimate objects, under the sea with mermaids, and an African savannah with no signs of humans.
