Doris Lang from the first Vampire Hunter D Movie
I've been wanting to do some VHD fanart ever since I saw both movies. And well, I finally made one
Doris is such an awesome character, she's strong-willed, beautiful and can stand up for herself. Now please don't ruin it for me by saying 'that's all wrong, 'she's way too skinny', 'she looks too young' etc, I drew her in my own style and I'm keeping her this way, so there.

i remember seeing this movie advertised in its original vhs format in an old issue of tips & tricks magazine. it wasn't until recently that i saw the movie on dvd and was pulled in immediately by the pre-80's animation and interesting plot. you've done a marvelous job here in capturing doris' design and colors

I thought Doris had black hair, because in the book it said her hair was black.

In the film she was blonde, they switched the hair colours around.
