These old telephone poles outline where the old Mother Road, Rt 66, used to cut it's swath through the Petrified Forest in Arizona. It was the road to take if you were driving west from 1930 until the interstates were built in the '60s. It wound from Chicago to LA. You can almost make out the old road bed paralleling these telephone poles. We are looking east here. More than 1500 miles to go to get to Chicago.Related content

This is so amazing, love the tones, and the contrasts of the colors. The vignetting just adds a lot to the overall look! It also has a very surreal feeling to it, beautiful work
