This was inspired by Ro-chan's fanfics and character Shiori who in turn inspired Tanuki-dono's fanfic which in turn left me super hyper wanting to draw Kenji with Shiori who happens to be my fave RK character (Saitou Hajime)'s daughter. *breathes*Related content

I prefer to ship Kenji with Chizuru, who half-way exists within canon...
But I love the idea of him falling for Saito's daughter. Kenshin would NOT approve, lol. Or... On second thought, he might be willing to let Kenji be with whoever he wants to be with. He's easygoing like that... Sometimes.

I love Shiori!
You did a great job drawing them both. Shiori looks exactly how I would picture her--love the bangs. Gotta go with genuine Saitou bangs.
I love her kimono, too. I must have a thing for red kimono. So pretty! I like how Kenji looks a little more angled that his father...gives him a bit of an edge.

I am loving this! thanks for the link for the fanfic, I am totally going to read it since the Wolf Saitou happens to be in my top 10 favorite characters. ANd his "daughter" looks just like him! Plus the eyes! ^o^
Yup, those are definately the WOlf of Mibu's eyes. If Saitou was real and he saw this picture, he'll probably flip since his "daughter is hanging around with Kenji, his nemesis' son.

oh wow, this is also ver beatiful like all your other pieces! i love the girl's hair and how there is red in it reflecting from the dress. the girl's eye turned out very well too. The background goes with everything (kinda matches the pattens on the clothes)
One thing that cought my eye that i didn't like that much though is how the border is so small. it would look way cooler is you put it bigger. i like how you decided not to black out things outside the border though.

I actually got carried away with the red highlights in her hair, but I'm glad you liked it. ^^; As for the border, I was pretty much at my wits end trying to figure out what else to do with the pic so I went for something delicate looking. Also I didn't want to cover the yellow flowers on Shiori's kimono so I pretty much chickened out on the border here. ^^;; Again thank you!

Also really great and full of suspence. This fanfic inspired my drawing, since I drew Shiori older in my picture. (in Ro-chan's fic she's 11 while Kenji is 16)
The real life Saitou Hajime didn't have any daughters, he did however have three sons, which Ro-chan and Tanuki-dono do mention in their fanfics. But Shiori was created by Ro-chan.
