Description
As said, it's a simple birthday request pic for my beloved friend and best critic, Pichi! Her original character Rasu.

Now I remember why I don't do red heads often....Red hair is the hardest hair color to do! @_@;; Hate doing highlights since they don't always look right. ; Eh, maybe one day I'll get the hang of it. X3;

As for the rest of the pic. Evil photoshop which began working again, kept freezing up on me whenever I tried to do layers or other specific tasks. It's the first time in a long time that I had to color the background in the same layer as the figure itself. Grr! Mask was used often here, and it's a bummer cuz I had a really cool background idea for it and in the end this resulted. ;

Oy, Sadly not up to my expectations as far as clouds go, but I was at my wits' end since I couldn't go crazier than usual thanks to it being on the same layer as the figure. Major bummer. And yes, he is on a rock. It's a dark rock I notice, probably he's in Hawaii by the sea resting on some volcanic rock. Dunno.

I hope Sensei likes it. TT; She seemed pleased with the initial sketch but due to some imperfections with his arms I ended up changing his right arm and now looking on it, I can see some other imperfections. Waah! The lighting is also funky (ie. wrong place/weird colors) but it's a funkiness I did on purpose. At least in choosing the colors. My old art teacher used to encourage us to smidge an odd color here and there, so things don't always look flat, and so I did that with the blue, red, yellow lighting. Eh, maybe next time I'll be more successful. Hope ya guys like!

Edit: Okies, I edited the things folks asked to be touched up. *shakes fist at red hair* One day I shall master you! For now this is the best I can do. T^T
