based on "Dia De Los Muertos" by xoxobittersweetxoxo [link]crayon & ballpoint pen
This is my piece for the anniversary contest for UnsungMediums! The challenge was to do a picture half in crayon, half in ballpoint pen! I think it ended up about 50/50, but there are a lot of places that have both ballpoint and crayon.

I had a college professor tell me to put away my crayons when i took them out for some random life drawing in class because i was trying to conserve my good stuff (i was running out of money. seems to be per usual with me) and we argued about it. she did not think it as serious art BUT! i got her to agree to let me try the first half of class with them. then she'd evaluate it and if she didn't like it, i would have to put them away.
during the second half of the class, i was lending the crayons out

yeah I can see it work, its just I imagine children with their vice grip fists, just smashing them into the paper, I don't know how to use Crayons in any other way ^^
