Fun story (well, fun for you guys, maybe, it was more of a headache for me) - this wasn't originally supposed to be the September 12, 1993 strip. I had an entire other Sunday comic drawn for this day, a very detailed and lavishly drawn comic at that... and then I double-checked my research and realized the '90s pop culture thing I was referencing didn't come out in America until October 1993. Oops.

So that comic got reshuffled further down the schedule to November 7, and with no time left, I had to pull this comic out of the old continuity and tweak it as best I could. It's not one of my favorites, but dang it, I tried. In the long run, I think it's for the better. Reruns are temporary, but historical accuracy is forever.
