Here's the first part of another three-part Forever 16 origin story - the long-awaited first appearance of Jocelyn, from September 1992!

I have to say, this story gave me a heck of a lot of trouble. I had to introduce Jocelyn, establish what kind of person she is, make it clear that she and Steve are very much in love, then make her the bassist for Westworld (which happens in part 2) - and then, as it so often happens with Forever 16, I didn't like where it was going, threw out half of what I'd written, and conducted an emergency rewrite that felt more natural and organic. All the stuff I described above still happens, but as this collection of strips foreshadows, Aaron is more heavily involved in the latter half of the story now, and as a result, the story is longer and there's more going on. Hopefully, it all works.
