The sheer number of art projects I've been working on this year has been overwhelming at times, but at least I can cross this one off my list - it's the last of my fan art commissions! qwerty2999 asked me to step way outside my comfort zone and draw Saheeli Rai, one of the Planeswalkers from Magic: The Gathering. I've played Magic exactly twice in my life, and both times I had no idea what I was doing, so I have to admit I'm not well versed in who Saheeli is. Quick research told me that she's got a knack for metal crafting, which is clearly evident in that gold wraparound number she's got on. That was a tricky accessory to draw - but still a lot of fun!

No problem at all - that was why I decided to embark on that commission drive, so I could draw some characters I hadn't seen before and maybe find some cool new stuff to learn about
