I was kicking around concepts for that "PokΓ©mon" comic strip I do on occasion, and I began thinking about how Satoshi and his friends had changed their clothes for the Houen and Shinou regions, but not for the Jouto region. And so I sketched up this layout of what it might look like if they had. I changed Kasumi's hair, too, going for the look that she sports in the Gold and Silver video games.Related content

Ah, the Johto series. It was then I got bored with the cartoon series, what with all the filler episodes and whatnot. Then I've only watched the Hoenn and Shinnoh ones in odd irregular spurts.

It was bad enough when they changed Ash's outfit (how does he get out of that coat if it has no front opening? Maybe he never gets out of it), but you can't change Misty's hair at all. I liked how original and different that hair was.
