Here's the other commission for , but fortunately, I had a much, much easier time with this one. Yes, it's more scantily clad women sleeping, but it's not a canon-destroying crossover and there's actually a legitimate and humorous reason for it to be happening.He asked to see the Amazonians from "Futurama" episode 3ACV01 "Amazon Women in the Mood" fast asleep. And he also wanted Leela and Amy in there somewhere, also asleep. So I came up with the scenario that the DOOP (Democratic Order Of Planets, for those of you who are "Futurama"-illiterate) is trying to extend ties to the lesser-civilized planets in the universe and sends Earth's most esteemed citizens to speak at those planets. Unfortunately, Amazonia gets stuck with Professor Farnsworth, whose 160-year-old ramblings quickly succeed in boring the hell out of everyone in the audience.

Going from one thing to another in the same sentence: something that happens quite frequently with elderly men in Matt Groening cartoons. They're pretty good at it, too.

I still don't think any "old man rant" in either of Matt's two series will come close to topping Grampa's aimless story from "The Simpsons" episode 9F15 "Last Exit to Springfield"...
