I mostly did these sketches as preparation before I started writing - not much need for more now that the story's finished. But I may get the urge to knock out a few more of these in the future for old time's sake, who knows?

OK I can see the story here.
The arcade is closed for vacation, so Ralph,Felix, and Couhun go to E-Z living 2 (as mentioned in a deleted scene) while Vanellope takes the racers to a DLC version of Sugar rush, while there they meet new racers and a spoiled princess version of Venellope.
Meanwhile back in E-Z living 2, Ralph and Felix feel bad that Vanellope can't join them, while Couhun doesn't trust the people from E-Z living because "nobody is that laid back!"
In the Sugar Rush DLC, Vanellope is really starting to not like her counter part but the new racers and the normal racers tell her to not worry so much and have fun. Little did they know that the princess Vanellope has a plan to take over THEIR Sugar Rush.
Vanellope tries to convince the other racers to listen to her but nobody believes her except for Rancis (who has a crush on her). The evil vanellope captures the good vanellope and poses as her but Rancis knows that it's not the right Vanellope.
The evil vanellope, send Rancis and Sour bill to the fungeon where he escapes by taking off his hat a chucking it at Sour bill, making him to hit the ground and release Rancis.
He later found the real Vanellope and helps her escape, later they convinced that the other vanellope is evil and they all go to E-Z living 2 to get Ralph's help.
That's all I got

You were kinda close, but the beginning was way off
The way I was going, it started with the Pac-Man cabinet suffering a massive circuit failure and needing to be unplugged, an incident that makes Ralph realize that video games don't last forever, and that his game could be next - he starts to worry that he wouldn't be there for Vanellope anymore if he didn't make it out in time. Meanwhile, outside Game Central Station, a shiftless new employee at Litwak's Arcade goes behind Mr. Litwak's back and sells Sugar Rush to a buddy of his named Bernie who collects video game memorabilia; he shows up late one night, hooks the cabinet up to a battery to preserve the high scores, and takes it home, plugging it in next to his cabinet of the sequel game, Sugar Rush II: Whirled Tour. Vanellope and the other kids meet the characters from the other game, which include another Vanellope, this one still a princess.
Back at the arcade, Ralph and Felix are distraught, assuming Vanellope and her friends to be dead, but Calhoun travels the electrical wiring into the computer in Mr. Litwak's office and brings up the security cam footage that shows Bernie taking the game. A brief glimpse at Bernie's driver's license allows her to Google search his name, and she discovers that he has an account with the online MMORPG Extreme E-Z Livin', which they can use to game-jump into Bernie's home computer by logging off through his avatar character's home base. Ralph, Felix, and Calhoun all head into the MMO, and meet up with Bernie's avatar, a beach bum named BD_Gunman84. Only problem is, Bernie's account was deactivated due to extended inactivity, and BD is locked out of his fly penthouse apartment unless he can obtain the 500 Likits he needs to open it up again. So Ralph, Felix, and Calhoun get roped into participating in all the crazy party activities that Extreme E-Z Livin' has to offer - volleyball, bungee jumping, jetskiing, etc. - to even be able to earn enough in-game currency to get into Bernie's computer in the first place. Ralph starts to think that, once they rescue Vanellope, maybe this would be a better place for all of them to live than the arcade - a video game Shangri-La where you never have to worry about getting unplugged. But Felix and Calhoun insist that their duty to the players is more important, and Ralph has to decide if that's worth risking death by unplugging someday.
Over in Sugar Rush II, all the racers are wowed by their sequel game's improved graphics and advanced racing features, but Vanellope misses Ralph and the others and wants to go home. Princess Vanellope convinces Vanellope to set off for Litwak's on her own, and offers to help her repair her kart, which was damaged when Bernie moved the cabinet. But when she escorts Vanellope to the power strip, she has her guards attack her and knock her unconscious. Turns out Princess Vanellope has gone totally nuts being locked up in a for-display-only video game that nobody ever plays, and by forcing her fellow racers to hold Random Roster Races with her every night, she's become obsessed with winning every time - and she's mighty impressed with Vanellope's glitching ability. Through her mastery of cheat codes, she copy-pastes Vanellope's own code into herself, which destabilizes her slightly but gives her the glitchy skills and the outward appearance of her first game counterpart - and next, she plans to keep the Sugar Rush kids hostage in her own game, as hapless lackeys in her own ego trip races. Rancis Fluggerbutter and Sour Bill uncover this plot and get thrown into Princess Vanellope's Fungeon for it, and it's up to them to find a way to rescue their president and all the residents of Sugar Rush.
And I'm still kinda wary about revealing the ending, on the off-chance that I ever get the opportunity to get back to work on this story, but it all builds to what I think is a pretty awesome action climax

That's actually a pretty cool concept for a sequel.
Honestly, and I hope you don't mind me saying this, but even with the actual sequel coming out, I'd still like for you to revisit this story one day, as a sort of "What if?" for a Wreck-It Ralph sequel.
Plus, I'd just love to know how it all works out in the end.

Here's my betting on what your fanfic will include. It'll feature new Sugar Rush characters, a princess trying to usurper Vanellope (or Vanellope turning evil cause we can clearly see her getting zapped by something or someone and this other princess has candy her hair like Vanellope), and maybe some kind of love story between Rancis and Vanellope

I see that we are going to have an Evil!Vanellope from a different Sugar Rush game by the looks of things. Also, are there any plans for any cameos from game characters, as well as some more dialogue for the other members of Bad-Anon?

jbwarner86 In reply to DanGuy96 [2013-09-17 16:06:48 +0000 UTC]
I've been kind of mum on the details of the plot, because I don't want to give away any big twists. But yeah, I do plan to incorporate the cameo characters. Bowser, Kano, Zangief, Zombie, Sonic, and Tapper all have at least minor speaking appearances, and Pac-Man and Clyde are heavily involved in the first act of the story. But, much like the original film, the cameos more or less stop once the story hits act two, and the overall focus is fixed squarely on Ralph, Vanellope, Felix, and Calhoun.
As I've outlined it, this story is shaping up to be about 28 chapters long. Right now, I'm only about a third of the way through, and it'll probably be a while before it's complete. I don't want to start posting it before I'm finished, because I keep having to stop and work on other things, or go back and revise what I've written, and I'd like to avoid any long stretches between updates - or worse, run the risk of abandoning the story. I already had one long epic fanfic that died after a handful of chapters, and I don't want it to happen again. I'm crafting the story to work as a plausible sequel to the movie, picking up basically where it left off. A sequel seems unlikely to happen in real life, since Disney doesn't really do sequels anymore, but this is the one movie where I and many other fans really really want to see one (even Rich Moore and the voice actors have said they would be up for it if they had the chance).
This movie resonated so deeply with me, and I developed such a strong attachment to the characters, I feel like I need to explore what happens to them after the events of the movie. With Ralph gaining acceptance from his peers, Vanellope becoming president of Sugar Rush, and Felix and Calhoun happily married, the end of the movie feels like the perfect set-up for further adventures. If a true sequel doesn't become a reality, I figure I and my fellow Wrecklings can at least enjoy my little story in lieu of one. And I want to ensure that I make it the best it can possibly be, at least on par with the movie itself.

I loved this movie, too. I look forward to what you have planned for this story.
I was also wondering if you are going to incorporate either Mario or Luigi among the cameo characters?
π: 0 β©: 1
jbwarner86 In reply to DanGuy96 [2013-09-17 19:13:57 +0000 UTC]
It's not a visual cameo, but I've written a scene in a Bad-Anon meeting where Bowser talks about working with Mario. Again, like the Disney story artists, I couldn't find a way to give him a cameo role that would do justice to his character, so I kept him offscreen and made a joke out of it. I like the idea of the famous Mario being spoken of fondly by the other arcade residents but never actually appearing onscreen, like he's a legendary figure.

Maybe you could also put in a throw-away line about Bowser's life as a "family man" with his eight kids just for fun (yes, I do still consider the Koopalings to be Bowser's legitimate children). It's just a suggestion, but I think it might be funny.

I'm still working on it. I've banged out the first nine-and-a-half chapters, but I've hit what they call the "second act slump", where I'm trying to keep the story moving at a steady pace after I've already set up the conflict. Plus, I keep tweaking the outline, and when I change one plot thread, a bunch more tend to unravel along with it.
I want the story to function like a plausible sequel to the original film, and at Disney, the story process is usually undertaken by over a dozen story artists collaborating together. It's a lot harder to do it by yourself.

I don't want to spill too much about the plot right now, but it involves the characters going on a journey that takes them well beyond Litwak's Arcade. Much of the story takes place within Extreme E-Z Livin' 2, the online MMORPG that was conceived for the movie but never used, as well as Sugar Rush 2000: Whirled Tour, a Sugar Rush sequel of my own design that introduces fifteen new racers.

SUPER PICTURE FOR A SUPER MOVIE OF ALL TIME!
Because you recycled one of the deleted scenes this movie, with a few more chars, Minty Zaki as excample, the Sugar Rushers on a dancefloor, funny Snowanna,
and a lot of ideas for a brand new story, seeing Princess Vanellope or the thunderbolting Vanellope, poor honey,
and a few more.
Hopefully, Wreck-it Ralph 2 is as good as the first.
