Here, have another Off the Deep End quickie! If there's one thing that's consistent among all the characters in this series, it's that they all have a heck of a lot of fun being underwater models. Anjelica can't even wait to go back over to Jamie's house for her next photo session - she wants to try it in her own pool too! Her Instagram needed a few new selfies anyway

very nice, I would have liked to see the closeup of the face of Anjelica with eyes open (I am obsessed with the pose) but i can not have everything

Yeah, for added realism, a few of my characters can't open their eyes underwater - some people in real life have a hard time with it, I figure not everyone in my fictional universes would be a natural at it either. Among the cast of Off the Deep End, neither Anjelica nor Brenda can do it, Joshua can only kind of half-squint through one eye, and Kyle can only keep his eyes open for a few minutes before they start to sting and he has to shut 'em.

This is oddly something I've thought about before. Most cartoons never have characters struggle to open their eyes underwater. Some animators must not know how hard it is to do that.

It has its own TV Trope: tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php… I've been guilty of doing that in the past (I did a comic once where Jamie was reading texts on her cell phone underwater without any goggles), but it's something I generally try to avoid if I can help it.
