I believe I've said this before, but for all you new followers tuning in, Kiyu T. is actually one of my oldest fan characters I created that I'm still using (I believe I had come up with her way back in high school). I may have a lot of OCs now, but there were a bunch more that got cut from the story of Super Mario JBX pre-2014; of the many that wound up getting canned, that included Kiyu T.'s former ninja squad members, Scorch and Boulder. Back then she was called Coral, and she specialized in water ninjutsu. Her first drawing on here even retained that aspect of her character, but Kiyu T.'s changed considerably since then. Somehow, someway Scorch found a way to reach her, but to his dismay, she has no memory of him. I've never drawn Scorch (or Boulder) since joining DA, I might have drawn them once on my computer, but like with most of my old hand-drawn works, I had deleted it, along with many others at the time. I'm not planning on bringing him back though, this is just a joke.

One thing I should note is that while Kiyu T. here is drawn with my drawing tablet via Painter Essentials 8 (a.k.a. my current go to format), I decided to draw Scorch with what I had at the time before I stopped putting him in the story; on MS Paint, using my laptop's trackpad (and using the colored pencil brush to emulate my former style for art). Kinda gives off that vibe of "not being canon anymore", if that makes sense. Also, I had forgotten how arduous it was to draw using only your finger. Feels weird to intentionally draw at a lower skill level. At any rate, as always, hope you guys like the drawing!
