Ok, I'm very nervous about posting this. This is the cover of my small pet project, a short BG2 comic inspired by a song (I'll tell which one once it's over). It shouldn't be longer than 10 pages or so.

I hope everything is visible enough and if it isn't... well shadows are there to conceal things

I just love the shadow's expression...and her face is so wondefully impassive ...sorry, it's probably not a funny scene but the shadowy puppet master looks way too amused ^^

...oh, and I love the song you named it after to death. I think it fits the pic perfectly

I love the color play in your pictures! Her emerald green cloak is truly a sight to behold. Especially with a nice contrast such as her blue-white skin and hair.
Also the details of the cloak. The pattern on the shoulder pieces is really neat. And does it actually have little holes for the ears in the hood?

Nice cover! That ghastly shade on the left is funny and creepy at the same time. Don't you have a picture in which it's scaring Xan without her noticing?

I was trying to go for that watered-down effect like early morning or late sunset, plus *bows head in shame* detailed inking with it's clean crisp lines is not my strong point.

I know that feeling. My hand can never stop shaking every time I ink with pens. Which is why I take digital art over god-damn-have-to-redo-the-bloody-inking everytime...I have the redo button to fix my horrible mistakes

Though, I think I'm a bit addicted to it. (tries to redo in real life)

Overall, it looks alright to me I like it!

Yes, the redo button has to be the most revered one for anyone working on the computer I may have a tablet but inking on the computer is a big no-no for me. I loose patience faster than a... well, fast! But I think I'm settling into a new mixed-media style ^_^

The cats and soldier are rather small in comparison to the heroine, though. Especially the soldier.. it doesn't look to be THAT far away...

Thank you. I work best when I have inspiration (and that's rare these days). And the cover is more symbolic than anything but yes, the major question is "who is the puppet?"

Well it makes me wonder...The shadow is the fear? In a way that fear guides the acts of the character like the puppeteer guides his puppet... It's very inspiring!
