Art Trade Video Game Sequence Sketch; Pencil & Paper:

Part 2: Daisy's relaxing desert-based sunning has been rudely interrupted! As she fights against the clawish hand clamped over her mouth, another one grabs her left wrist as she was about to spin around with a backfist! She first eyes her large attacker and raises her right arm BUT...

A second assailant, which she sees for the first time as a Sledge Hammer Brother, grabs her right arm as the first brother releases her left, but Daisy's left is quickly held by the second brother.

Daisy hears something happen behind her and is about to yell when a knotted cloth is drawn into her mouth and is pulled tight around her head! Distracted, Daisy instinctively bites down and tries to fight off the gag from behind while the Sledge Brother to the side gets busy with some rope around her legs.

The gag firmly tied behind her, Daisy is taken by surprise as the speed with which her arms are pulled behind her, and she feels rope thrown around her body. The firm grasp on her wrists is replaced by the rope which is attached to her upper body and firmly knotted out of the reach of her fingers...

This page 2 of my Art Trade project; Daisy seems to have gotten hired this time for the full DiD treatment in Peach's stead.

Princess Daisy: I think my female figure drawing, at least for characters such as Daisy, is improving. It helps that Daisy's pose didn't change much throughout the panels. The toughest was the last, but I did have a reference, though I know it still isn't *quite* right, but since this is the first time for a behind the back shot from that viewpoint, I consider it progress. All in all, Daisy at least is struggling more than Peach would have, but two large koopas that are so heavy they can make the ground shake kinda have the advantage including surprise.

Sledge Brothers: AHA! So there are TWO of them now! You didn't think they were named "brothers" for ceremony only, eh? I didn't have much posing to do for them either; mostly mugshot and 3/4 frontal views. Although I did have to show one of them standing a bit on the beach chair's foldable back for Daisy's upper body tie up to happen. The Sledge brothers, at least in most references, seem to have VERY stubby limbs, so I am taking some creative liberties to make the whole sequence work.

Scene: Quite a bit going on here! A few arms and hand grabs, some struggling, and [for me, anyway] the unusual gagging before the initial tie up. I did some minor background work just to flesh things out. The differing viewpoints does help in thinking of the space around both Daisy and the 'bros.

Let me know how you all like what is happening here...there is certainly more to this sequence to come!
