I DO NOT WANT ANY HATE ON THE COMMENT SECTION JUST BECAUSE OF WHAT I SAID IN THE BOTTOM OF THE DESCRIPTION. IF ANY HATE COMMENT IS COMMENTED ON THIS PICTURE, I WILL IMMEDIATELY REMOVE IT. PLEASE UNDERSTAND MY OPINION AS I AM REALLY SICK AND TIRED OF THESE HATE ART.I'm sorry. But before anything. How the hell did I draw this on phone?
I was planning on finishing my other requests today but as I was in my breaktime I found hate art about Sally and all I can say is... It ruined my mood for the day. I was originally going to make a comic about me ranting or a picture of Sally crying while Amy's hugging her but ended up drawing a solo picture of Sally instead. (And I am so glad I chose to draw the solo picture) And drawing this helped me release all my anger. After drawing the lineart, I thought it was very gorgeous so when I went on to colour I was afraid that I would ruin it. But boy was I wrong. Colouring it even made it better.
I know we can never stop hate for every character but I just hope people won't post hate art that specifically writes down every insult they have for the character leading to angry and offended fans. I honestly don't mind people hating or disliking Sally, but please, just stop drawing hate art that intentionally makes the specific character look bad just to give out more reasons to hate them. I love Sally and all the chracters in the Sonic franchise so much. I hope everyone would respect everyone's opinions and not make a fan war. To be honest. The fan war in the Sonic community especially the ones relating to shipping, is the reason why I almost left the Sonic community.
Please note that I am also talking about other characters that recieve massive or just a ton of hate from the fandom. Including ; Amy(well not really for her but I am also talking about her since some Sally fans do this to Amy as well), Chris, Elise, etc.

I mean it's one thing to have an opinion, but to straight up demonize a character and slander him/her with shit that ain't miles close to the truth, that's just taking it too fucking far. Hey assholes! We fucking get it! You don't like the character. Just ignore her and move the fuck on! Nobody wants to see any of that hateful bullshit here. If I hate someone or something, I just ignore them and stay away from pictures of them (although that won't stop me from befriending someone who likes a character I despise). So far, I haven't met a single person at all who has given a legitimate reason to hate on this girl

Sally Acorn, just like all the other characters in the lineup, possesses certain qualities which make her appealing to some, and not-so-appealing for others.Β That's because people are different, and will always be different...and that's OK.Β We don't have to like the same things.
I personally like Sally, along with Amy and a few other characters.Β There are also some of which I'm not all that fond, but that simply means that I ignore them and let them be.Β I don't create hate art/writing about them, and I certainly don't go looking for fans of those characters just to give them a hard time about it.Β It's much more productive to surround myself with like-minded people, and to promote the good qualities of what I do like, without resorting to tearing down alternatives.
As for your picture of Sally, the lighting is so powerful, as is the look of hopelessness on Sally's face.Β She looks like she needs some words of encouragement right about now.Β And maybe a hug.

I really like your art
I'm tired of all the hate that Sally gets even by her fan that cannot accept changes or that don't like her new design!
It doesn't matter what she does, people will always complain about sonething: if she does something right, she is a Mary-sue, if she makes a mistake they completely forgot that they called her a Mary-sue and they say that she is an incompetent (like in issue 266-267, but people do not consider that she took the option that could have been a trap and therefore she split up her team for safety, the fact that letting Cream and Big stay behind was a smart move that saved their life and the fact that they didn't know how long Sonic would have been away so they had to try!) or the fact that she can't cook it's a sin!
People have to grow up!

To me, Sally was among the best parts of the Sonic franchise! She may make mistakes at times, like any natural leader, but she, like his Way Past Cool Boyfriend, Sonic (Yes, I'm a SonSal fan), have led the Freedom Fighters to more victories than I can count. She is a great Princess, a great leader, and the perfect woman for Sonic the Hedgehog.
