Description hello,
I did this drawing in tribute to the future film Sir Ridley Scott
I am fascinated by the atmosphere of these films and their graphic qualities
I was inspired by the "Pieta" of Michelangelo and it allowed me to imagine just a face might look like the Space Jockey
it was fun

I hope you enjoy

He must be dropping her off with the payload, on his way to earth.

The Yautja's would sing Chant of Joy for a Chance, to fight a Sprace Jockey One-on-One in Duel to the Death. Even tough they may be able to guess how abnormal strong they are. Hmm, i wouldn't be surprised if a usual Space Jockey could even kill those "black" Yautja's from Predator 2010, barehanded.

But oh wait, i forget the Picture!

Awesome, inspiring Pic. I like your "friendly" looking Space Jockey.
He looks like a huge Protector of the Woman he is holding.

film blew ass in every aspect expect for it looking nice and being filmed well and the android David was actually the only character one can truly enjoy since he has the most emotion. When the Space Pilots were depicted in a few alien novels and other stories they are so much more interesting. Prometheus was probably one of the more less imaginative films I have seen in along time. Nothing about it is original, other films and stories have done similar ideas and did them better. It was just a massive let down and makes you angry about it.

What this film really reminded me of was a fanmade movie. The story just reeks of an 8th graders bad attempt at honoring the Alien universe. This movie is on the same level of stupidity as AVP 2.

Such a lost opportunity, they really had a chance to rejuvenate the alien universe but now we are back to where we started with shitty extra movies that lead nowhere but to illogical sequels.

Just mindless action and stupidity

[link] There are some more hidden hints/ideas/plots/homages to Lovecraft in the film but even those lead to nowhere, watch the review.

Right, even if it had clever(only stuff you'd know if you had been an extreme hardcore sci/fi fan) homages/plots/ideas/etc etc they still all lead to nowhere. The movie is a Diophantine problem, where there are fewer equations then given variables.

I recently ran into Michael Fassbender walking in the mall in Atlanta, I told him he did a great job as David 8, didn't day anything esle about the movie, although I'm sure he would have shrugged his shoulders too.

This is the obnly picture of the Engineers that is accurate to Ridley Scotts idea. I WTILL see artist making elephent aliens even AFTER the trailers reveal the Engineers. I was hoping we would all realize that they are the progenerators of man by this point and stop holding on to fan-fiction that isn't supported by Scott at all.
For that I am faving this picture for sure. Thanks!

You are welcome, sir!

Here's to June 8th; to changing the entire franchise and laying all those terrible movies (part 3, 4 AvP 1 and 2)and fanfictions to rest after 30 long years of waching the agonizing deterioration of a timeless sci-fi/horror concept. Here's to Sir ridley Scott.

Did the Jockey's suit make it appear larger?

it's true that I have not really paid attention to the size of the costume but it's just an interpretation of the space jockey, I think it will be much larger
