or over 10,000 years, Humanity has survived in a hostile galaxy while enduring every form of “Dark Age” possibly imaginable. And yet in all that time, there has always been normal men and women called to arms against the enemies of the Emperor. Whole planets could be filled with the graves of those lost while fighting for the Imperium, and yet in their memory, we may see a glimpse at history now long lost in the 40th Millenia.

*Through Imperial History, there have been countless regiments with different uniform designs fighting for the Imperium. The purpose of this study is to showcase the most prominent Guardsmen of their time who embody the general aesthetic of their millennia. In doing so, we can see how the Guardsmen as a whole has been changed and influenced.

A follow-up to my last piece, this time I did a historical evolution of the Imperial Guardsmen from 40k. This time I did two additional millenia just because the Imperial Guard have a longer history and maybe even a little bit more lore than the Mechanicus.
