Thank you so much for requesting a critique through The-Photo-Club !
Please note the below critique is my personal opinion and is meant to serve as an outside perspective of your photography and not meant to offend or upset in any way!
Initial Thoughts: An enjoyable and peaceful feeling.. but is my screen dirty?
What I Love: There is a soft lightning wich is not fade at all, fine tones in general and a subtle gradation in the overall picture. Colors and contrast are very well balanced and with a quiet water, your photo delivers us a deep feeling of tranquility. You choose also a meditative point of view with a minimalist composition: water, mountains, some natural elements and the attraction definitly works.
What I Think Needs Work: I don't know what are those dots on your picture (water, sand, dust, or where you behind a window, for example on a boat?) but it's too much distractive. This kind of details can be post-processed if there is not too much of it, but sadly the brightest part of your photo reveals too many spots. The composition between the water and also mountain/sky part could have been more balanced. When you took a picture, you can think about the composition in a "third rule" so your subject (or here, the horizon) will not be in the center and it will delivers an even more dynamic view. For most of cameras, you can also activate an option that lets appear a grid in your viewfinder, and it's really helpful!
Overall Score: 4 / 10 | A photo of a charming point of view that reproduce a peaceful feeling, but the presence of the dots are sadly too much disturbing for me to enjoy it entirely.
