Thanks; the aim is to purposely not do a roof so the interior is fully visible. Glad you think that - it is quite literally a copy of Didcot's transfer shed!

I like it when modellers do that, it really adds a "museum value" with a detailed interior. And my locos love to stick in buildings like that, so a removable roof is always good.

Thanks. Glad you think so re the platform - nice to have a second opinion. Indeed it is - Hartlebury Castle (the widest cylinders I have).

that castle is a nice little model, at the S&CR we have a modified hall 'Owsden Hall' undergoing restoration, the castle class i think look more powerfull

I'm not far away from 'Wightwick Hall' at Quainton (been in the smokebox!); lovely engines. Large or small, GW locomotives had style.

They haven't been on display for a long time, but I recall the two of them yes. Would be nice to get them back up & running.
