This is the second picture of my "Forged In The Fire" series. Although I am a firefighter myself, I do not, in any way, shape, or form consider myself a hero. I'm just a man that chooses to be shoulder-to-shoulder with my heroes instead of looking upon them from afar. I watch them respond to some of the most horrific scenes imaginable time after time to help total strangers. They train hard every week, so that when the time comes their skills might save a life. There is no pay, and little recognition for my heroes, but they took an oath to help others and they would die before they ever break it. Trust me when I say that these men and women truly are my heroes. Officers, firefighters, and medics alike. I'm proud to call them brothers and sisters.
