The US only flies them out of Holloman AFB as part of an aerial targets program. The are no longer a front line fighter.

But several air forces still use them in their intended role. Namely Germany and Iran. I think Greece uses them as well.

okay that makes me laugh Iran is using F-4 phantoms as their air force, and yet they keep talking shit to everyone else. Oh they are so gonna get it if it ever comes to blows. Thats funny. But yea I thought they were pretty much done everywhere, but I guess everyone wants US military hardware and old US weapons are still US weapons so to each his own I guess

That's not all- The 747 is still a mainstay of Iran Air! This includes the unusual 747 SP.

yea, well the 747 (probably newer version) is pretty much a mainstay for any long flight anywhere anymore. It what you think about when you think jumbo jet. Heck even Air force one is a 747. Enormous plane. It amazes me how long they use things like. Heck they say that even a car should be restored ever 10 years or so. I want to see them start doing frame off restorations on jumbo jets (lol) you know powder coat the frame and everything. lol

Heck the Airforce doesn't even have a plan to retire the B-2 spirit bomber even in the next several decades which is insane I mean they are already about 2 decades old.
