Not really, it's about £8 to get it printed then posting would only be a few quid.

Late xmas pressie, or if it's closer early birthday pressie?

and is that L thing called a "quid"

je-design In reply to CynosurePhotography [2008-03-24 03:13:58 +0000 UTC]

haha the L thing - you mean this - £ - ???

That young shammy is the Great British Pound symbol! Also known as Sterling or for slang you have "quid" it's pronounced like the word "quick" but minus the ck and add a d ;more cheesy thumbs up;

some people say "squid" as well - so that picture would cost roughly "twenty squid" - I'm telling you now the English language is so damn complicated it's annoying!!!

lollll
yeah! quids!
squids sounds awkward. so ill stick with that. ;]

so what is 8 quids in dollars?
or do you know?

je-design In reply to CynosurePhotography [2008-03-24 10:44:26 +0000 UTC]

well 8 quid is £8 so it would be about $16?

...ish...

OH! do you know how to convert money??
because i always see that L looking thing on ebay, but i dont know what it is in us dollars. and yeah. lol

i turn 18 on september 17, so i think thats closer.
yes, i do believe it is.
YAY!

je-design In reply to CynosurePhotography [2008-03-24 03:16:58 +0000 UTC]

Yeah it's easy. Current exchange rate means £1 = $2

So if something cost you $100 it's £50.

So it's great if we go over to your side of the pond! everythings mega cheap in comparison to living here!

Thing is though...EVERYTHING in the UK is expensive! there is a place near whee I work that sells a standard ham sandwiche for £5!!!!! so thats $10

$10 for a ham sandwiche...what the hell?! and you can even buy half a sandwiche for $5 (£2.50)

Normal places charge about £2 for a whole sandwiche...it's disgusting lol.

Ok right - for your birthday I will print you one of those pictures and send it to you

The 18th is a special one afterall!

Nicely done... I can't offer too much helpful commentary because I'm new to it like you. I see your shutter speed was 30 seconds... I've noticed that mine have been much faster... usually faster than 10 seconds; what time of the day are you taking yours?

well that was taken at 2 in the afternoon, we get terrible sunlight in England, it's rather annoying.

I'll try different exposure times tomorrow though, see if I can get it down and reduced the blurred clouds a bit.

Thanks for the input though!

This is really obscure.. and i love it!

Thank you, indeed, the bottom plants need cropping out but I think that would mess up the composition.

But thank you for commenting
