Last commission for of his KG character, Cela :3 She's based on the azwakh dog, which fits the shorthair so well!

Hn, I never do as-detailed shading as usual when I do short-haired characters.. I feel bad afterwards, but smooth shading like this with minimal detailing just conveys that short-coat so much more :/
And it looks way better than if I try to draw a bunch of fur strokes in.
Now if you'll excuse me, I think my monitor is freaking the fuck out and I need to go figure this out O__o;;

I never do as detailed shading on short fur either xDD; but I ithnk that irl short fur doesnt look like it has quite so much detail either, unless its really wiry or thick fur or you are very close
