<< First << Previous >> NextDouble Updates have returned! I've been on the ball with Marked pages lately, gotta get these pages out~ Updates will be mondays and fridays, and Marked Chapter 3 is scheduled to release May 9th!
I didn't add any sound effects or anything to this page because I'm lazy and didn't feel they're needed to convey whats going on. King gets bit, the chicky gets away and now theyre raring (I would be an awesome sports spectator).
Uh.. yea. Kinda can't wait to post the rest of these darn pages xD; I don't think anyone's really paying attention to them but I gotta finish >:C

Jackal will actually be finished on page 11 ^^ It isn't really it's own comic; it's actually part of Marked. So in a way I won't be continuing it - because it'll be done - but the characters aren't going anywhere. These two jackals (and the cat from the first two pages) appear in Marked C: I'd consider Jackal a "deleted scene" of Marked.

No - in a fight between canines their teeth often click together since they're both aiming for each others' throats/faces; looks a little odd though.

Something about this page seems sort of stiff or slow. It's still pretty epic though.

It is a little stiff; I'm still figuring out how to illustrate fight scenes.. (it was especially difficult considering I have a hard time drawing the jackals)
I also had to drag this fight out longer than I wanted to to fit the AP image requirements XD

They can be hard.XD Showing the speed and intensity without loosing the quality and anatomy and such. I got quite a bit of practice joining an OCT, but I still have difficulty. Someone I know who does it incredibly though is :icontheroquez: I love these pages for example: [link] [link] (Granted she does have a much loser style.)

Oh yes xD I find it the more cartoony a style is, the easier it is to show lots of motion and not have it look weird - which is why I tried to make my own style more cartoony, I just fail at that sort of style D8 So right now I am stuck with very stiff fight scenes.
I've been considering joining an OCT for practice O: Not sure I have the time though.. but ive watched one here to consider xD
