It's the Dark Mark, Harry. His Mark.I started on this project back when I was working on the Firefly Cross Stitch Bag, just as a traveling project to take to work with me. I hadn't touched it since then, and I finally got it done last night.
I wanted to do this even before I decided for sure on my own Dark Mark, and I really love how this came out. I used Oatmeal Aida, and I like how the skull looks like a bone-colour, as opposed to pasty-white (like my own arm?). I wanted to add colour, but decided against it because . . . well, I didn't really know which greens to use.
This pattern was not my own. I bought it off of Etsy, Link below. I did make a few adjustments to the skull part, because it was not symmetrical, and that bothered the crap out of me.

Ahahah! I did this before my tattoo, to be honest. I wasn't sure back then if I was going to get my own Dark Mark, but hey. I don't regret either one!

You're welcome! If I were feeling really ambitious, and had the materials, I'd embroider some wizard robes with it, but use a matching thread so the effect would be really subtle. Or maybe like a coin purse. Again, this is awesome! Keep up the awesome work!

i mean like moving pictures changing so the snake would wriggle wich would mean sewing different positions really carefully
