Description As morning dawn sleeps,
Underneath axil and grime
We plot our escape.

Under the deck in the stairs of the walk-up basement. Self timer. It's pretty gross and fairly covered with spiders and cucumber vines. Weird self made arm warmers I felt like incorporating in a photo. Experimenting with vignetting and darkening midtones in post processing. Color balanced.

Experimenting. The photo reminds me of snakes. Don't know why. Haha my lame haiku.

It's a hard technique to teach you really just have to experiment until it looks right. Though I suppose checking your histograms help. And also tone map. This photo has dark tones, shadows and midtones, in general if you look at the histogram
I don't think I did that much midtone editing for this one. Only slightly dakrned midtones but mostly darkened the shadows. The dark tones for this are mainly due to the vignetting.
