messing with the major histocompatibility complexes
(the article I had in mind requires a subscription...this one's similar though: [link] )

Tutorials and Resources
- Forced perspective with bokeh: [link]

Materials and Methods
Nikon D80 + 50mm F1.8 + IR remote. Composition took forever -_- . I eventually realized to put a mirror behind the camera so I could look at the camera LCD after every photo and adjust my pose accordingly for the next shot and get closer and closer to the desired composition. Back lighting + Christmas lights for the bokeh. Christmas lights were hung and tied into composition...weird setup. Darkened shadows. Color balancing. Decreased blue content. Noise reduction.

If you haven't, you should look at selling your images to stock photography houses.

How do you do these?
I'm trying to get some bokey shots, but my 'dots' look nothing like that....

I know you use christmas lights, but how do you set up the shoot, do you use light, etc?

Fantastic concept and the bokeh is spot on. I like the fact the hair is there otherwise the neck and face would have left it a little too abstract.

What a great job you did!! All that setup stuff and trying to get the right composition was well worth it! (damn you're patient tho )
Actually, all your bokeh shots (and just the fact that I love bokeh) have inspired me to make a new collection

This is so stunning and sensual. You created a very summer-y atmosphere that makes me think of Eden. Though that may also be the title's fault.

After reading the title, I noticed how the bokeh goes straight for the throat, and became curious about the concept of "fallen sons".

Then I read this:
"messing with the major histocompatibility complexes", with a link to which I need a subscription to read.

Online definitions of "histocompatibility" led only to greater confusion.

Can you please spell out the concept for this simpleton?
