In addition to the Horrific Immortal Legion, Project Mechromancer had a branch obsessed with creating a Techophage that could infect any Droid or Computer system and bring it under their control.

Project Vector eventually succeeded in creating another Abomination based on the Darktroopers, the Techophage Trooper or simply TPT. instead of Rotting and Corroding Nanites carrying the black wing virus, these monsters strode through a cloud of Nanites that would latch onto any Droid brains or sophisticated computer system. These literally would become Techno Zombies slaved to the TechnoPhage trooper that carried THIER control code. not satisfied with this, the Project Vector team went one step further.
A single TPT could not only subborn technology but the Nanites carrying the slave code would physically alter the equipment, producing a sickly green glow, photoreceptor would turn green and the physical body of whatever was infected would appear to warp and contort as if a biological thing.

Droids especially of a more humanoid design would move in a unnerving spastic way, sickly green veins of TPT Nanites pulsing through their outer shell and appearing every bit the horrific Techno Zombie they were. Each infected system would accelerate the spread, allowing even a single Techophage Trooper to assimilate an entire star destroyer or similar size of ship given enough time.

The most disturbing part of all this was that inside the Head of each TechnoOhage Trooper was a Humanoid Brain grown in a special lab and implanted with the TPT Control Code.
