Welcome to Daikon-zaka, the pedesterian slope for students to walk up to get to school. Literally "radish slope," you can tell which kids walk up this part of the mountain versus which ones have their parents drive them around the other way based on how large their legs are. Just like daikon radishes.You can see apple blossoms this time of year too. Very nice.

I always wished, when i was younger, that I could walk to school every day. I can now seeing as how i live on campus, but it's not the same lol.

This was late evening during Golden Week. All the kids had to leave school at a certain time because of the holiday so the path was clear. I should get a pic of students walking up the hill/mountain sometime though.

I wonder if kids factor in the daikonzaka commute into whether or not they apply for this school. XD
