Originally Blossomforth, I was experimenting with filling in the eye dents with milliput. Then I had a blank flush surface, so I decided to carve out and inset gems to emulate the G1 Twinkle Eyes. I don't do any design planning ahead of time so she just kind of came about organically. I did take some colour cues from G1 Fizzy.Paint is acrylic, sealed with matte acrylic medium. Hair is Hearthrob and Tea Rose from DH.

I think those are the nicest Twinkle Eyes on a G4 I've seen! I'm jelly of your ability to inset them

Thanks! It's not hard to do, just carve out the area the gems are going into (without cutting through the head itself) carefully with an exacto knife and pop those suckers in. I think it also helped that I'd built the area up with milliput first. I'm probably going to find a better glue next time I try this, because the super glue I used looks like it ate away at the backs of the gems a little bit if you look closely. If you look close you'll also see that my cuts weren't so flush either lol. It might be easier to do the cutouts if I had a dremel tool, but I don't so I cant.
