Description This is a re-drawing of the Bring It picture [link] , done Jan 30th, 2007. I went back and redrew it in Photoshop, to correct any of the drawing flaws I saw in the original pencils. Also this is a foray into digital inking to see if it is worth the trouble. I think the results are pretty good- as in hard to tell from my normal inking.

Anyway, she remains a fighting girl beckoning her opponent forward for a savage drubbing.

Also, if anyone wants to give it a whirl with colors send me a link to the final results!

Edit:

It's pretty clear, but I had to scale the image down and make it a jpeg to fit it easily onto dA.
The advantage I found to using Photoshop to ink is that I could take several swipes at a brushline, and undo the ones that weren't any good. The disadvantage is that you can't get a good look at the whole image and the details at once when working on the screen.
I'd reccommend giving it a try if you have a tablet and the computer time available- otherwise I think you are getting pretty good results with real ink.

Thanks Jed, I think I will try it. I have said tablet and too much time on my hands. What size tablet do you use btw?

I have the 3x6 one or whatever, and I was wondering if the larger ones were any easier to controll.

This is the only size I have used- I haven't had any problems with it so far.
Ho's the 3x6 one work?

Its not too bad, but you really can't make any sweeping strokes with it, and sometimes it sputters around and you will suddenly get a lot of paint dobs when you were really just trying to change direction, lol. It works fine with Photoshop though.
