The Seeds thing is just one facet of the Technocrat's system of control- I believe they are the remnants of both scholarly and corporate forces in the Wynter Dark world. It is pretty heavy-handedly about agribusiness in these pages though.

The seed Comes from MOSANTO and the crop is geneticly engineered, so that the farmes have to buy new grain each season. Right?
The coloring is simply masterful. Like in old paintings, not so shrill and "glowing" like the usual comic-book coloring.
Is the Monks head tatooed or is he wearing a cap?
