Happy Back to the Future Day! October 21st 2015 is finally here and I wanted to make something to bring along to a BTTF marathon screening party my friend is throwing today. I was heavily inspired by Toyguru's Marty McFly figure on Figurerealm; JTMovie adopted a similar recipe. Han Solo base, with upper arms and head from Star Trek '09 Chekhov, lower legs from a prototype Harvey Dent figure and sneakers from a Heroe's Claire Bennet. Lots of dremelling and sculpting, including sculpting on most of the clothing. The red/orange "life preserver" vest was sculpted on top of Han's vest. The shoes are connected to the lower legs by joints from a Japanese hobby shop. I don't think the likeness is great, but it was the closest I could find in the 'ol bin of heads. I dremelled off the original hair and sculpted on a new hairdo. This threw me for a loop or two so I don't think I'll be doing the 2015 look, nor Doc or Biff. Thanks for looking!
