Description
Lurking deep in the oceans lives this strange but beautiful creature, rising to the surface only at the summons of Poseidon to act as a messenger to his loyal followers. It is equipped with gills in the sides of it's chest and neck to breathe underwater but also has lungs that can breathe oxygen from the air.This is again using the techniques i'm improving on, particularly illustrating my digital pictures without lineart. I feel i'm getting better with it, slowly but surely!

Great idea, but I'm wondering how this thing swims
I like the rendering of the skin, it really looks like fish scales with the strong reflections of the yellow ambient light. And especially the details of the hooves are very amazing.
Maybe some suggestions of moving water (e.g. around the hooves) could improve the underwater impression and give that extremely calm piece a little bit of action

Wow I really love this pic! It's so amazing! I love the design... In my city there's a big fountain, where poseidon is riding a coach pulled by two of those creatures..., And some mermaids are around... I'll send you a pic later!

Ah, so prettyful! The large scales are unusual but all the nicer-looking for it, and the background is enigmatic enough in its shapes and darkness to really make you wish you could explore it further! Great stuff!

wow..thats beautiful.. though im thinking maybe make the tail alittle longer so that when it attaches to the body is doesnt go so unproportionally thin all of a sudden.
