*Le Dies*
This whole crap with the GC/Wii.
Sony kept producing many of it's titles for the PS2 in conjunction with the PS3...which I assume is due to the fact they know full-well that there is a TON of PS2 owners still out there who can't afford/find a PS3.
On the otherhand, Nintendo decided that it was no longer worthwhile to release a handful of titles (namely the sports ones) for the GameCube anymore seeing as how the Wii is out. The problem is, the Wii is near impossible to get ones hands on so I'm guessing a bunch of people are now stuck with worthless GameCubes because Nintendo decided to not be kind to it's loyal platform gamers. For christ sakes, they are STILL releasing GBA games despite the backwards compatibility of the DS...where's the justice? I'm a Sony man now.

I suppose.. But I don't think that's a big enough reason to completely boycott something.. It's just a matter of patience, to be honest. They'll eventually get rid of the shortages.
Should've at least went Xbox..

I meant Wii shortages, not GameCube.
And what's wrong with Xbox? It's not all FPSs, you know..
Also, Halo is available on PC so what's the problem? =/

Oh I know, but it is the main "franchise" of sorts for Xbox...which is part of the reason I hate it. It's library is atrocious, it has THE worst next-gen controller...in fact, the worst period. (Yes worse than the original Nintendo). It is the EPITOME of price-gauging and of taking advantage of the consumers.
As for the Wii, honestly, it's cheap to get the console...but then you have to get all the hardware attachments...and they don't run all that cheap. When it's all said and done, after buying software as well (because as fun as the bundle is...it would get boring after about 2 days), it's well up there in price. They planned it perfectly to screw the consumer. *Sigh* I've lost faith in video games.

The 360 controller is the worst? The PS1/2/3 controller is the worst in my book; ever-breaking and not all that comfy. But that's just my opinion, of course.
And the Wii.. well yes, I suppose added up it is quite a bit. At least the games are cheaper than the other consoles'.

Quality wise, the Gamecube (Nintendo brand ones) are the worst. They cheaped out a lot on parts as is evident by the fact that my Mad Catz and Hip Gear ones all last longer. I find the Xbox control not only to be far too bulky, but the button configuration to be just plain inconvinient.
I agree, the games are cheaper...but, I think the consumer is gonna get what they pay for. Nintendo for YEARS now has skimped out on the full graphics capabilities of their consoles. Nintendo is become extremely third rate :-S I hate to say...
