People on there are saying the site is getting deleted, or at least a bunch of blogs are? I'm not really sure because I've only seen bits and pieces of what's up, but I think Tumblr is deleting everything that it's decided is nsfw? But their system is not working right so it's tagging unrelated stuff and deleting it. So I figured the shirtless person might trigger it? Lol I'd rather not test that and get my blog deleted

Probably a messed up algorithm. I don't post any sort of porn or nasty stuff, not even swearing, so I'm not worried since I should be safe from bots. If not, maybe I'll just quit Tumblr if my account gets deleted, but I doubt that'd happen. Honestly, I like freedom of speech, but I don't think porn should be anywhere minors can stumble across it.

They have a huge porn problem on that site. It's nuts. And it's stupid how easy you can come across stuff you shouldn't on there. I don't post anything like that either, just the occasional shirtless trooper. But my original sketch of this got tagged when I posted it, I just assumed it was a one off since I've never had that happen before, and then today a bunch of people were flipping out and talking about how some of their random pictures were getting flagged, and some blogs were just getting straight up deleted, while somehow the porn boots are still active. Some dumb coder isn't doing their job right lol

Bots can be really dumb. Maybe just avoid posting shirtless anything until this goes over? I'd guess maybe the bot can't tell the difference between a shirtless guy and female porn or something.

If they ban me, their system probably banned 99% of the population, so I'm not worried. I'm not a big Tumblr user anyway. I hope they get the bot thing straightened out though. If it worked properly, I'd be happy with it because I don't like porn bot followers.

Lol that's probably true. I really hope they get rid of the porn boots for good. I hate going to check out new followers and seeing a few normal fandom pictures and then bam! Porn. It's gross

I think it's because people have to tag their own art as mature or not every time they post a piece, and humans, as crazy as they are, do a better job at it than bots.
