Description Happy May the 4th!

Lightsaber of my Jedi persona, Galen Karros. Made shortly before the start of the Clone Wars. The weapon of the Jedi Knights has always been viewed as a weapon of defense for the user and those they protect. Galen was particularly drawn to the art of lightsaber combat. Galen sought to create a sturdy, yet simple weapon with no protrusions to catch his hands. The smooth, textured grip allowed for a weapon that was easily manipulated without worry of losing it. The resulting hilt lends itself well to multiple forms of lightsaber combat. Originally featuring a club shaped pommel like Obi-Wan's third lightsaber, Galen asked Huyang to rebuild the pommel in an additional circular piece at the end to make it resemble the lightsaber of his master, Korval Chen. The most unusual feature of the lightsaber is its yellow blade.
Galen wielded this lightsaber during the Clone Wars until his master was killed in the Third Battle of Mygeeto. Galen's faith in the Jedi Order was further shaken by the betrayals of both Pong Krell and Barris Offee. Scared that he would fall to the Dark Side of the Force himself, Galen chose to leave the Jedi Order and turned his lightsaber over to Master Yoda and left for the Systems beyond the Outer Rim. Leaving no trail for anyone to follow, Galen subsequently escaped Order 66.
Years later, having lived as farmer on the little known planet Tenabur, Galen was approached by the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jando Keth. While pursuing a target, Jando had encountered Yoda on Dagobah. The Jedi Master entrusted Jando with the delivery of three things to Galen: Galen's old lightsaber, a Jedi Holocron, and a message to "Search for his path beneath The Horn." Galen believed the message referred to a mountain known to the local colonists as Trejo's Horn.
With Jando in tow, he journeyed to the mountain and discovered a long forgotten Jedi Temple at the foot of the mountain. Jando stood guard while Galen ventured in. Inside he encountered a vision of a Jedi Temple Guard. The Guard announced that he had to arrest Galen for betraying the Jedi Order. Despite Galen's protests to the contrary, the Guard refused to yield and attacked. Galen hadn't used a lightsaber in nearly twenty years, but he held his own for a time. Then three more Temple Guards appeared, forcing him to surrender. Galen confessed to the lead Guard that he had indeed run away from the Order because he was afraid of becoming like the Sith he had been trained to oppose, like Krell and Offee before him. Resigned to his apparent fate, Galen knelt at the feet of the Lead Guard and submitted. As he closed his eyes to await his punishment he was surprised with the following words; "By the right of the Council, by the will of the Force, Galen Karros, you may rise."
Shocked, Galen stood up and asked what this meant. The Lead Guard removed his mask to reveal the face of Galen's old master, Korval Chen. Chen's spirit declared proudly that his apprentice was now a Jedi Knight. Chen then embraced his former student and tearfully told him that he had always believed in Galen. Now it was time for Galen to believe in himself and return to the turmoil that still engulfed the galaxy. After leaving the Temple and reuniting with Jando, Galen departed Tenabur to join Jando and the Rebel Alliance in the fight against the Empire.
