You know its hard to think that this sweet little girl would grow up to be the greatest military general her world has ever seen nor that she would be the last of the Old Patras Clan and the First of the New Patras clan. Empire's End Esdeath is a complex character who blurs the line between chaotic good and chaotic neutral and yes we're operating on Empire's End as it is canon and AGK is a nightmare created by Volgoth to torment and crush peoples hopes and expectations and cause no shortage of crying and raging. With that out of the way Esdeath as a child isn't to different from the average member of her clan, they are very much a practical people that are similar to the Spartans in their philosophy believing that the Strong survive and the weak perish however their ethics believe that the weak should be protected or helped to become strong a rather interesting world view and before any of you tell me that's not what they think you are talking about a nightmare timeline that is nothing more then that a nightmare and thus it never happened. Esdeath as a whole is a reflection of her people and the ultimate survivalist and the apex predator of Eden, nothing hunts Esdeath because anything that does has a death wish at age 6 which she is in this image she is capable of taking down fully grown Raptors and is not a push over. Esdeath also is an avid historian in addition to being a survivalist and has a completely knowledge of her people's history that the Patras Clan were once the rulers of the First Empire of humanity on the face of Eden, the Empire of the Dawn, Patras means people in their language and that of the Dwarves and their full name is Patrassi Nur, people of the Dawn. This ancient culture is Esdeath's pedigree and she is her world's equivilent of Genghis Khan in military mind and with similar origins too in that both were orphaned at a young age and forced to survive as children in a dangerous land and did so against all odds and due to their military minds managed to allow for the conquest of the largest empires ever forged by a single person, though in Esdeath's case she actually had a large established Empire to work with. Ultimately her childhood would be shattered by demon worshiping Northern Raiders of the Saika Clan and the Red Bears whom destroyed her tribe and killed her father, eventually however Esdeath would have the last laugh as she would conquer the north and give the murderers of her people the overdue justice that was demanded for their crime
