In re: the repeated refs to Shadow's Chaos Control - these may well be characters wearing the "skins" of the real characters (Shadow and Sandy Cheeks) and not the real persons.
I walked away from Sonic at #134. They had already brought in Shadow and just recently Silver has popped up. Now, at that point, I stopped even reading synopses of the stories on the web. I am NOT waiting for Mephiles to show up (Mephiles is not a hedgehog at all, but a conjunction of forces and he kills Sonic and weaks unholy havoc. I stopped reading the description or watching the video or whatever, when the other heroes decide to go back in time and alter history so what happened never happened).
