This painting is actually one of my more recent Abhorsen drawings. A couple years ago I did a sketch of what i thought Mogget looked like when his collar was removed (fav.me/d7kosms ). I was really happy with it but i wanted to give in another go! I've gotten a lot better as an artist in general and wanted to try to see if i could pose him. It was really difficult!!! I was tricky trying to find that balance between giving his body some structure and trying to communicate the energy and fire! So I'm happy with the result but I definitely have more to learn LOL
