Although BTD5 Dart Monkey and Druid attempted to stop the thief, the thief retaliated by using a smoke grenade, which prevented the monkeys from stopping the thief, allowing time for the thief to escape.

The Druid’s grandfather (the BTD6 Arcane Spike mage) shows up worried about why the Druid left the house. After knowing of the Druid’s current mission to stop the thief, he lends the Druid his lightning wand that he had once used in his early days of wizardry.
