This is SO cool. Not only does it pay tribute to a great anime, but the drawing and animation is superb. You maintained your usual level of style and detail, even in motion, and that's quite an achievement. Ol' 'Ghurt herself is more badass than ever, and the animation stands on its own as a great little moment that's perfectly within her character. Really impressive stuff!Β

For the few seconds of animation that there are, it was done well! From the simple action of Ghurt chewing, her dropping the hot dog, and the subtle jiggle as she notices someone out of the frame, it's a very simple but clean animation

Yeah, lame. It relies too heavily on the anime reference, causing the piece to fall flat when judged on its own merit.

I don't mind constructive criticism. I appreciated the part that you suggested ways to improve it. I just found the comment "lame" very vague and I wanted to know more what you meant by that.
I was also just doing this spoof for fun to test my animation skills. If you didn't appreciate it for what it was, that's totally fine.

That's literally the entire point of the piece. It's a homage to the anime. You're criticizing it based on what the creator intended it to be on a conceptual level and frankly making yourself look like an idiot while doing it.

It's a piece of fanart, which I might add you have plenty of in your favorites, made in the artist's free time. Most likely as practice or just because they wanted to. Whether your entitled little ass believes it or not, people don't specifically tailor all their content to meet your specific needs.
