Debatable. Until we solve the problem of consciousness, it's entirely possible that they do feel. Robots have all the creativity and critical thinking of insects, so do they have the same feelings? Do insects feel? What about lizards, birds, dogs and monkeys? Where does emotion begin?

if you put an AI in an environment with constant emotional stimulus then it may be forced to adapt due to the stimuli build up

If the creator of the character says that they have feelings, despite them being a robot, then they have feelings. You might think it's impossible, but so is expansion as portrayed in (beautiful) artwork like this, so it's a moot point.

Yea, I really love the bubbles in her tummy and the squishy mound of leg fat. Also the colours n shading are really cool.
