This is a drawing I made for my girlfriend's birthday! does the guy look familiar? hahahaI've always wanted to draw something about Ancient China. I hope you all like it!

nice, although i think her hand is a bit too small, and his forearm a bit too long (or is the upper arm supposed to be shorter due to perspective?), but apart from that small bit of nitpickery, pretty good. i really like his hair and the way you drew the eyes, they look pretty realistic and show more emotion than your average stylised or cartoon face.

That sword is amazing. This is my favorite way of shading and as I have said many times before I hope to reach this stage of art someday. Probably the nicest thing about this piece is how subtle the colors are even if they are considered bright colors. It reflects the whole meloncholy mood the pic is giving off and I think it's just great. I also like their clothes and the flower in her hair. Not sure why he is hugging someone while holding his weapon out but it looks cool so thats a bonus.
