Description
It seems like I'm finally back on the Lion King bandwagon, after binging the crap out of "The Lion Guard".

So these reference sheets are a way of me re-learning my anatomy, (and also, learning how to use my new graphics tablet - the Wacom One is VERY cool, coming from someone who hasn't used a tablet that works as an additional monitor before) and possibly even attempting a comic one day.

**Semi-Canon Character**
Mohatu (as seen in "The Brightest Star")

In my version of events, I consider Mohatu (Simba's great-grandfather) to be the first lion to take rule over the Pride Lands in several decades. He and his small family were escaping the destruction and decay of his own homeland due to general environmental factors, and happened across the Pride Lands. It had been vacated by the previous reigning monarchy for secret story reasons, and the Pride Lands were chaotic without a leader. Given that nobody ruled, and his mate was to be giving birth soon, the small pride settled.

Mate: Niara
Siblings: Yangu, Askari
Cub: Uru

**While I've stayed MOSTLY true to the canon events from TLG, I've also incorporated stories and characters from the TLK6NA books and other sources that were retconned (semi-canon), and put my own spin on events. This is NOT the official version of the Lion King storyline. All movie events from TLK and TLK2 are canon.**
