Commission forThis is his character Monifah, and think the best description for her is space-pirate adventurer. She was once had immense powers, but now just has psychic and telekinetic abilities.
Sometimes I forget that I love sci-fi. I never draw it because I thought I sucked at interiors and environments. Really I just have to make myself spend the time to develop them properly. I really enjoyed this piece, and spent alot of time on it. I like how it turned out.
And it's all digital this time, baby. Ohhh, yeah! I no longer am daunted by inking in digital.

I REALLY like her shoes, and the colouring in general. Her left hand seems to be a little small, or oddly shaped, of course, it might be hard to see if it is or not, since it's underneth the other one. But I think it looks weird. Also I think her right foot dissapears oddly. It feels like you should see more of her foot than you do right now. But, as said before, the colours and lines look very nice, and I forgot to mention her hair. ^^ It looks nice and flowy, even though it's short.

I think you're right about the hand. I got caught up in the other details and it got neglected a little. I knew the foot looked a little wierd, but I didn't really know what to do about it. I was trying to add a little perspective of sorts, but I don't think it worked out that well.
